The last day of our south island tour was spent driving down the coast back to Christchurch. We stopped off at one of my favorite places, The Store in Kekerengu. The Store is owned and managed by a friend and his family that we know from New Zealand and Aspen. We stopped along the way to see the seal colony as well as the beach side town of Kaikoura. We did a little shopping and had some lunch. The weather was starting to take a turn so we continued on to Hanmer Springs to enjoy the hot springs. We finished up the night eating dinner with the family.
