Last night we went to Oktoberfest in Freemont with our friends Jana and Robbie (fellow Texans)! Freemont is an eclectic neighborhood not too far from us and every year they have Oktoberfest so we thought that we would check it out. The rain held off and we were able to test a few micro-brews. My favorite was Lang Creek's Cherry Porter and I think Bush was happy with his Becks. I am glad we went last night as it is rainy today but we are missing the Texas chainsaw pumpkin carving contest, the beer belly division of the 5k race and on Sunday the hair of the dog modeling contest but nonetheless we had a great time!
