Dallas

We made the most of our trip home to Dallas by hanging out with family.  Just the way dad would have wanted!  Some of our family I hadn't seen since we were little and others we have not seen since our wedding.  We really enjoyed our quality time together and also had some fun.

Trip to Klyde Warren park with the boys

Sutton playing in the splash park.

Having a hamburger at Burger House.  One of dad's favorites.

Bush and I visited the newly open George Bush Library.  It is a gorgeous building that truly captures the essence of Texas.  This is a picture of the steel beams from the twin towers.  The 9-11 exhibit was very poignant.

President Bush!

The gorgeous 360 atrium of the museum displaying scenes from the beautiful state of Texas.

Dinner with family at Rafa's. Another one of dad's favorites.  Can't go home to Dallas with out eating mexican food!

We also had time to stop by the car show where granddad was displaying his car.

Swimming.  We do a lot of swimming when we are back in Dallas.  We love it as much as the boys do!

Sutton and Bush.

Floral cross from Aunt Barb and Uncle Frank.

Dad's service program.

The sign in area.  Dad's service was perfect and very much him.  His brother Si spoke as well as Gini and Dorothy.  Will and I ready Bible verses.  We ended with a bag piper playing Amazing Grace.  It was the most beautiful service.

Dorothy and I with our cousin Susan.  We have not seen her since we were very little.  Enjoying the wild flowers back at the George Bush library.  Me- about 12 weeks in this picture.  :)

There is nothing like Texas wildflowers!

Will and Sutton at dinner at the Park Cities Club.

Swinging!  As John Lawson says: swing me catawampus!
