Spring has Sprung!

Well at least last week it did! It is supposed to snow again on Monday but at least we got to get out into the sun last weekend! We went cross country skiing with the Allen family on Saturday. Just a short drive out of town and you are in the mountains. It was Bush's first time to cross country ski! It is the oddest feeling the first time you go out if you are just use to down hill but he was a pro by the end of the day. We had a crazy drive back due to an avalanche that had plowed through the highway. We were only stuck for about an hour. Lucky as sometimes it can take hours and I mean hours to get over the pass. They warn you to take extra food and blankets just in case you get stuck. So we were super excited when we only had to chill for an hour. We grabbed some happy hour snacks on our way back and then got stuck behind the draw bridge....not our quickest day of getting around town! Sunday was another gorgeous day and we went down to a cook off at Pike's Place Market. Todd's co-worker was entering his bbq into a contest so we got to go down and have a few tastes. We also fit in a run around Greenlake and then met up with Liz and Ryan for an evening enjoying the sun on our rooftop! It was a fabulous taste of what is to come! Hope you all are enjoying the Spring!
